Patna: A cyclonic circulation is seen over Bihar and adjoining states. Due to this, conditions of rain are prevailing in the state. Due to cyclonic circulation, there is a possibility of rain with strong thunderstorms in many districts of Bihar for the next three days. At present, people are expected to get relief from the heat for four-five days due to rain accompanied by strong thunderstorms.
Highest temperature of 39 degree Celsius in Aurangabad
Aurangabad recorded the highest maximum temperature of 39 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours in Bihar. Patna recorded maximum temperature of 37.1, Gaya 37.8, Nalanda 36.7, Nawada 38 and Jamui 36.9 degree Celsius. Bhagalpur’s 35.6, Katihar’s 33.4, Purnia’s 34.1, Araria’s 33.8, Supaul’s 31.3, Darbhanga’s 33.8 degree Celsius. Valmikinagar’s 35.7, Motihari’s 34 degree, Muzaffarpur’s 30.8, Vaishali’s 35.4 and Chhapra’s maximum temperature was recorded at 34.8 degree Celsius.
Yellow alert issued for rain in many districts including Patna
Patna, Gaya, Aurangabad, Nalanda and Nawada Yellow Alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department regarding the possibility of rain in the next 24 hours. Apart from this, a yellow alert has also been issued in Rohtas, Buxar, Kaimur, Khagaria, Munger, Begusarai, Lakhisarai and Jamui districts regarding the possibility of thunderstorm with rain. Heavy rain has also been warned at a few places in West Champaran, Purnia and Supaul districts. On the other hand, in East Champaran, Muzaffarpur, Gopalganj, Siwan, Araria, Katihar and Kishanganj, there is a possibility of rain with strong thunderstorms in many areas. Rain is expected in these districts on May 26 and 27 as well. While no specific warning has been issued regarding 28 and 29 May.
