Tata Motors has recently announced the launch of an electric version of the Tiago hatchback. The upcoming Tiago EV will be launched in the Indian market on September 28. According to reports, the Tiago EV will get many features like multi-mode regenerative braking, cruise control and sports mode. These will improve the performance of the upcoming car and the customers will also get a better experience. In terms of price, the upcoming Tiago EV could be the cheapest electric car from Tata Motors. Once fully charged, this car will cover a distance of 306 km. 306km range on single charge

The specifications of the upcoming Tiago EV have not been officially revealed. According to auto website Autocar, the entry-level motor of the XPres-T could be used for the Tiago EV. It will get a range of 213 km with a 21.3kWh battery pack.

The upcoming electric car can also be offered under the Ziptron powertrain of the Tigor EV. With a 26kWh battery pack in it, this car will travel 306 km on a full charge.

regenerative braking will charge

Tiago EV, the third electric car from Tata Motors, will knock with multi-mode regenerative braking feature. Tata has first given this feature in Nexon EV Max. Tata Tigor EV does not have this feature, but the company may include it as a further update. Regenerative braking allows the customers to recharge the battery while driving.
