Slight increase in sales of two-wheeler vehicles

At the same time, the sales of two-wheelers have also increased by two percent to 15,77,694 units in October 2022. SIAM President Vinod Aggarwal said sales in October have also been good, especially for passenger vehicles, due to increase in demand during festivals and good market sentiment. He said that high inflation and hike in interest rates have affected the rural market more, hence the growth in the two wheeler category has been marginal.
