Now the vehicles will run on the expressway with more speed, the sound of the instruments will be played in the vehicles instead of the unsatisfied horn

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday said a proposal to increase the maximum speed limit for vehicles on expressways and highways will be discussed in the Transport Development Council (TDC) meeting in Bengaluru this week. In this meeting, the fixed speed can be increased on the expressways across the country.

Apart from this, the government wants that the sound of Indian musical instruments should be used in the horns of vehicles. It can be decided in this meeting whether the speed limit fixed for expressways and highways should be increased?

Apart from this, Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the sound of Indian musical instruments is being considered to be used as horns of vehicles.

Another proposal to bring a law regarding this will also be discussed in the meeting. If all goes well, then in the coming times, instead of the hoarse sound of horns in vehicles, the sound of Indian musical instruments can be heard.

thoughts on preventing accidents

The Road Transport and Highways Minister also said that he is working to prevent road accidents. Efforts are being made to work with the states to find ways to reduce accidents on national highways as law and order comes under the state governments.

Recently, due to the death of former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry in a road accident, there is a lot of discussion on this. International organizations have also raised their voice to prevent road accidents.

Gadkari will inaugurate Manthan, a three-day conference focused on issues and challenges related to the infrastructure sector, on Thursday. (with language input)
