Suzuki has released the first pictures and details of the third generation S-Cross. Along with giving fresh styling to this new S-Cross, the company has been built on the new Global C platform and the company has also given Suzuki’s 1.4-litre Boosterjet petrol engine in this car. The new Suzuki S-Cross measures 4300 mm in length, 1758 mm in width, 1585 mm in height and 2600 mm in wheelbase. In shape, this car is similar to the current model and not much changes have been made in it. Although the new model looks a lot like an SUV.
The new Suzuki S-Cross looks quite stylish on the outside and the company has presented this car with a completely revised design. The front grille looks similar to the XL6 and the glossy finish along with the bold mesh adds visual appeal to the car which is clearly visible. The headlamps also come with multiple LED lamps and integrated LED daytime running lights and the revised headlamps are also joined by a thick chrome stripe.
Engine and Transmission
The new Suzuki S-Cross gets power from a 1.4-litre DITC engine equipped with 48-volt SHVS mild-hybrid technology. The engine produces 129 PS of total power generation at 5,500 rpm and 235Nm of torque between 2,000-3,000 rpm. The electric motor on board can generate 13.59 PS of power and 50 Nm of torque. This crossover from Suzuki comes with the company’s Allgrip Select four-wheel-drive system. It can also be controlled through the dial on the instrument panel.

The all-new Suzuki S-Cross comes with great features like autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, lane departure prevention, adaptive cruise control with stop and go. It is also equipped with advanced features like 360 view camera and rear cross-traffic alert, parking support function.
