Maruti is bringing India’s highest mileage SUV car, hatchback fails in terms of mileage!

The country’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki (Maruti Suzuki) is in the process of adding a mileage-based model to its SUV lineup. According to the reports, Suzuki’s upcoming SUV will be a compact SUV in the new C-segment, whose mileage (Best Mileage) will be the highest in the country. It is claimed that the hybrid engine (Hybrid EngineThis SUV car can knock with a mileage of 22 kmpl. This is much more than other rival SUVs in India, which offer a mileage of 16-18 kmpl. More information related to Suzuki’s upcoming SUV will be revealed around its launch. However, the company has not confirmed this.

This technology will increase mileage

A technology is believed to be behind the better mileage of the upcoming SUV. According to reports, the self-charging hybrid technology in the powertrain will increase the mileage. This technology can be taken from the global lineup of Toyota or Suzuki. However, the exact figures related to mileage have not been revealed yet. But with the help of this technology, Suzuki’s upcoming SUV will be one of the most fuel efficient cars in India.

SUV will knock with hybrid engine

Suzuki has its own set of hybrid engines with the 1.5-litre engine, which could knock with the upcoming Maruti SUV. However, it is not yet clear which hybrid engine setup will be included in the latest SUV. Suzuki’s hybrid powertrain version includes a 1.5-litre DualJet four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine has been taken from Suzuki’s Vitara model.

Hybrid engine performance

The 1.5 liter engine of the company’s hybrid powertrain can produce 99 bhp and 132 Nm peak torque. This engine works in conjunction with an electric motor, which kicks in 33 bhp and 60 Nm of peak torque. This engine gets its energy from a 140V lithium-ion battery pack. At the same time, the combined peak output of this setup is 115 bhp.

Suzuki and Toyota Alliance

It has already come to the fore that a grand alliance has been made between Suzuki and Toyota. Under which a new C-segment compact SUV will be developed. The car of this segment will compete with the SUVs of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and other legendary brands. Under this development, Maruti and Toyota can launch the same SUV in the market with their respective people.
