Indian SUV specialist Mahindra is going to introduce its first electric SUV XUV400 on 8 September. The upcoming electric SUV is based on the Mahindra XUV300 compact SUV. After its launch in India, the Mahindra XUV400 will compete with the country’s best-selling electric SUV, the Tata Nexon EV. Mahindra’s first electric SUV, the XUV300 is based on a compact SUV, but this car will be bigger than the XUV300. According to reports, the Mahindra XUV400 is expected to run 400-450 kms on a full charge.
XUV400: Possible Features
The upcoming electric SUV Mahindra XUV400 will get a new and updated front face. At the same time, this SUV will be bigger than the XUV300. Its rear has also been redesigned. The upcoming car will get the Twin Peak logo of copper and the exclusive blue paint shade. The new front grille, copper colored elements on the bumper and new L-shaped LED DRLs are some of the best features of the Mahindra XUV400.
The interiors of the Mahindra XUV400 will also be amazing. It will get updated dashboard layout and new color schemes. Apart from this, features like touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument console, automatic climate control and connected car tech are also included. Mahindra's first electric SUV can also get a large sunroof, auto dimming IRVM and cooled glovebox.
XUV400: Range and ADAS
The upcoming electric SUV could come with two powertrain options. In this, the higher power variant is expected to cover a distance of 400-450 km on a single charge. At the same time, the low power variant is expected to cover a distance of 300 km on a single full charge. The car will be equipped with advanced safety features and will be the first electric SUV in the country to have ADAS.
