Kawasaki Ninja 400 is going to knock again with a new avatar and some new features. This upcoming car is going to make a comeback after about two-and-a-half years. It is a sports bike and tourer bike. Its look is attractive and many good features will be seen in it for long driving. Right now this bike has been launched in the European market and now it is going to be launched in the Indian market.
This will be a second entry level bike and it is going to knock in the market after about two to two and a half years. The company had discontinued its sports bike in the year 2019 due to BS6 rule in India, but now it is going to knock again. In this the company has used BS6 engine. Also in Europe the company has used Euro 5 compliant.
Kawasaki Ninja 400 Engine
Talking about the Kawasaki Ninja 400 that has been launched in the European market, it has been given a 399 cc engine. It is powered by a parallel twin liquid cooled DOHC 8 valve engine. This engine generates power of 44.8 hp at 1000 rpm. Whereas at 8000 rpm, it can generate peak torque of 37 Nm.
Wheels of Kawasaki Ninja 400
The engine is set on a trails frame, which will knock with 41 mm telescopic forks. It will get charged adjustable rear monoshock. It has a 110/70 R17 front wheel, while a 150/60 R17 wheel has been given at the rear. It gets a 6-speed transmission.
Brakes of Kawasaki Ninja 400
Talking about the braking system, a petal disc has been used in it, which comes with dual piston caliper. It gets 30 mm front and 220 mm rear calipers. The ground clearance of this bike is 140 mm, while the seat height is 140 mm.
Kawasaki Ninja 400 Weight
The weight of the upcoming Ninja 400 bike is 168 kg which is less than the 2022 KTM R 390. Also, their weight will be less than some of the Royal Enfield bikes. This upcoming bike will be lighter than the Honda CB 300R.
