Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has released the registration/sales report for the month of October. According to the FADA report, a total of 13,64,526 vehicles were sold (registered) in India in October 2021. Whereas, in October 2020, 14,41,299 vehicles were sold in India. In October 2021, sales of vehicles in the Indian market decreased by 5.33 percent as compared to October 2020.
What is the situation as compared to before the Corona period?
If we talk about before the Corona period, then the decline is still going on. Before Corona (October 2019), a total of 18,60,098 vehicles were sold in India. That is, in comparison to October 2019, in the month of October this year, sales of 26.64 percent vehicles have decreased.
