Japanese auto company Honda in India by the end of this year battery for electric rickshaw Planning to start a swap service. The company said that at present the size of the global electric motorcycle market is around 50 million units per annum. Most of these are electric mopeds (EM) and electric bicycles made in China.
Honda plans to introduce battery sharing service for electric tricycle taxis (rickshaws) in India by the end of this year, the company said. Apart from this, Honda is also working towards standardization of interchangeable batteries.
