According to reports, Hero MotoCorp may launch it under the recently trademarked sub-brand name Vida. The company has created the Vida sub-brand to primarily focus on the electric two-wheeler segment. Apart from Vida, the company has also filed patents for Vida Motocorp, Vida EV, Vida Electric, Vida Scooters and Vida Motorcycles. However, it is not clear under what name Hero MotoCorp will launch the upcoming electric scooter.

Expected price: 1 lakh or less

Looking at the current two-wheeler lineup of Hero MotoCorp, it can be assumed that the upcoming electric scooter will be offered to more and more customers. The company will produce it on a large scale. Talking about the price, the expected ex-showroom price of the upcoming electric scooter can be Rs 1 lakh or less. It will not be an electric scooter with 25 kmph speed limit, but will offer good performance to the customers.

Focus on safety, range and durability

Like the electric scooter from Ather or Ola, perhaps Hero MotoCorp's upcoming electric scooter will not be based only on performance and fun. Hero MotoCorp's upcoming electric scooter will be a more functional scooter, with more focus on safety, range and durability. Although the company had shown a prototype of Hero MotoCorp's electric scooter in August last year on the occasion of its 10th anniversary.
