30% increase in demand for CNG cars
In an interview given to Auto Car, the company's Senior Executive Officer (Marketing and Sales) told that the demand for Maruti Suzuki cars in the market is tremendous.
The demand for CNG cars has also seen an increase due to the rising prices of petrol. CNG cars include names like Alto, S-Presso, Wagon-R, Celerio, Ertiga, Eco and Tour-S. Maruti Suzuki has more than 1.25 lakh units of CNG cars pending.
How many pending cars?
There is tremendous enthusiasm among the customers about Maruti Suzuki's Brezza car. The delivery of a total of 70 thousand cars of Brezza, which was launched on June 30, is pending. The ex-showroom price of this car starts from Rs 7.99 lakh. Talking about Baleno car, the company has to deliver 38 thousand units of its cars.
Maruti production capacity
Maruti Suzuki's annual vehicle manufacturing capacity is more than 23 lakhs. Of these, the capacity of Plant-1 in Gurugram is 7 lakh vehicles per year, in Plant No.-2 of Manesar, Maruti produces 8.80 lakh vehicles per year. The company can manufacture 7.50 lakh vehicles annually at plant number two in Hansalpur Gujarat.
