West Rayalaseema MLC: TDP’s victory in West Rayalaseema graduate elections-7543 votes majority!

West Rayalaseema MLC :  Telugu Desam Party candidate Bhumi Reddy Ramagopal Reddy won in West Rayalaseema Pattabhadra constituency. Graduates of Kadapa – Anantapuram – Kurnool constituencies exercised their right to vote in this election.   Bhumi Reddy Ramagopal Red YSR won over CP Vennapusa Ravindra Reddy by a margin of 7543 votes. With this, it seems that the Telugu Desam Party has won in all the three constituencies of graduates.

Kadapa, Kurnool and Anantapur district, which is like a fortress for YCP, the graduates also won the Telugu Dasha Party candidate.  In the previous MLCs, Vennupusa Gopal Reddy, a former union leader, won from this position. This time his son  Ravindra Reddy was given an opportunity instead of him. YSRCP won this seat when it was in opposition. Now the defeat of the ruling party is troubling the leaders of that party.

No one got fifty percent of the votes required for victory in the first preference votes. YSR CP candidate Vennupusa Ravindra Reddy is in a slight lead.  Telugu Dasha Party candidate got the most votes in the second preference votes. Before the elections, the PDF leaders made an agreement to give their second preference vote to the Telugu Dash Party.  Due to this, huge number of second preference votes went to Bhumi Reddy Rajagopal Reddy. TDP candidate Bhumi Reddy Ramagopal Reddy won after counting of second preference votes. With this, fans of the Telugu Desam Party also celebrated on a grand scale in Pulivendu. The YSRCP leaders alleged that there were irregularities in the counting. Some votes  Bundles  Allegedly that they were given to TDP. Insisted on re-counting. Several times there were tense situations in the counting center. YCP candidate repeatedly from counting center  Ravindra Reddy went out and spoke to the party leaders. But the second priority votes are coming to TDP.. As the majority is over seven thousand.. In the matter of recounting, the officials  The decision was not taken in accordance with YCP’s demand.  From the beginning, they aimed at the MLC seat of the graduates. Already TDP Tapuna BTech Ravi Pulivendula is MLC under local body quotas. TDP seems to have two MLCs from that constituency. The loss of YCP in Western Seema is considered to be a big moral blow for the party.  Kadapa, Kurnool and Anantapur districts together, TDP got two assembly seats in the last election.  Kadapa and Kurnool did not get one. The change in the situation within four years has become embarrassing for the YCP factions.
