Alert to devotees.. Tirumala Srivari temple will be closed by the priests. The temple authorities have revealed that Swami’s temple will be closed from 8:11 am to 7:30 pm on the occasion of solar eclipse on October 25. Srivari Temple will be closed from 8:40 am to 7:20 pm on that day also due to lunar eclipse on 8th November. The temple will be opened after the purification of the temple after the eclipse. Due to the eclipse, VIP break, Srivani, Rs.300 darshans, earned services and all types of privilege darshans will be canceled in these two days. Only Sarva Darshan is allowed. Devotees are advised to observe these changes and plan according to this information and come for darshan.
Meanwhile, TTD is preparing to organize the Brahmotsavam this time after a gap of two years. Srivari Brahmotsavam will be held from September 27 to October 5. The authorities are taking strict measures to ensure that the devotees do not face any difficulties. Security is being tightened to prevent untoward incidents. However, TTD has made it clear that devotees should not give any gifts during the procession of umbrellas brought from Chennai to Tirumala to be decorated on Garudaseva. On the other hand, the consecration ceremonies will be held for three days from September 8 to 10 at Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanur.
