Tirumala: Tirumala Brahmotsavam is crowded with devotees. The authorities of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) are making all kinds of arrangements for the devotees coming for the Brahmotsavam starting from September 27 without any hassle. All arrangements are being made to provide food prasad to the devotees in Tirumala for the devotees. Not only at the food donation centers in the afternoon and night, steps are also being taken to provide prasad to the devotees waiting in the queue. At the same time, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam officials have come to the notice of TTD that many charitable organizations are also collecting donations from devotees claiming to donate food during Tirumala Brahmotsavams. Devasthanam officials clarified that during the Srivari Brahmotsavam to be held in Tirumala from the 27th of this month, free Annaprasad will be distributed to the devotees under the auspices of TTD. TTD appealed to the devotees not to give donations if private organizations and individuals ask for donations in the name of Annadanam. On the occasion of Brahmotsavam, a trust from Secunderabad said that it has found donations from devotees to give alms in Tirumala. It explained that the bank account number has been made available by the trust for this purpose.
TTD has nothing to do with the trust and requested the devotees not to believe the words of such organizations and individuals. It said that legal action will be taken against trusts that collect donations illegally. On September 26th, ankurarpana will be held for Brahmotsavam from 7 to 9 pm. The festivities will start from 27th. During the Brahmotsavam, steps are being taken to provide darshan of Srivari to 95 thousand to one lakh devotees per day. The officials of TTD are making arrangements to give darshan of Shrivari to the common devotees within 18 to 19 hours. Arrangements are being made to make Annadana Prasada centers available to the devotees along with Tarigonda Vengamamba Annadanasatra for distribution of Annaprasada. Annaprasad is also served in the queues.
