Along with him, former ministers Paritala Sunitha, Kalva Srinivasulu, Sathyasai District Telugu Desam Party President BK Parthasarathy, Kadapa Parliament Constituency President Srinivas Reddy, Paritala Sriram, Prabhakar Chaudhary, Madineni Umamaheswara Naidu, Sridhar Chaudhary, Alam Narasanayudu, Adinarayana, Nettam Venkatesh He also protested. As a result, they were arrested and taken to Anantapur Third Town Police Station.
TDP candidate Ram Gopal Reddy has not been given a declaration yet, as part of the protest by TDP leaders, the Collector and Joint Collector vehicles were blocked by the leaders and workers. The activists were dragged away by the police. Special security forces were also deployed in advance as tension turned near JNTU College. This created a fearful atmosphere at the counting center.
The TDP leaders blamed the fact that after Rangopal Reddy’s victory, the collector took time without giving the declaration form and finally left the counting center. The former ministers and TDP leaders alleged that the police illegally arrested them in the event of protesting by intercepting the collector’s vehicle. They said that they have expressed their pain through protest to the collector who did not give a democratic declaration and did not respond properly. He complained that if he protested his behavior, he would be arrested and taken into police custody at 2 midnight.
