There has been an increase in the number of devotees at Srisailam, a famous shrine in the Kurnool districts of Andhra Pradesh. The crowd of devotees has increased to the Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple located in the Nallamala forests. As the new year also coincides with Sunday holiday, the crowd of devotees has increased.. Since dawn, people have been taking holy bath in Patalganga and lined up in the queue. All the devotees are allowed only for decorative darshan of the lord. It takes about 6 hours to visit Shriswami Ammavari.
On the other hand, tomorrow is Mukkoti Ekadashi.. So as a large number of devotees are likely to come to Srishaila Kshetra, Swami has canceled the abhishekal VIP break darshan for them till tomorrow. Devotees will be given an opportunity to visit Mallanna Swamy Ammavars from the north door on the Mukkoti Ekadashi day of 2nd January.
