Krishnam Raju: Uppalapati Krishnam Raju, who has made a name for himself as a rebel star in movies, has made his mark in politics as well. He worked as a Union Minister and gained recognition as a politician. He attracted everyone's attention by winning the MP for the first time on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Kakinada Lok Sabha constituency in the united East Godavari district. In the 1998 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won four seats out of 42 seats in the united Andhra Pradesh. Krishnam Raju won from Kakinada.
