Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy once again showed generosity. He was on a tour of Kadapa district and was moved to see the plight of a farmer and two children in Pulivendulu. On his way to the helipad, he stopped to see the children standing on the side of the road. He asked what the problem was. CM Jagan assured for the medical expenses of two children suffering from anemia. The parents spent lakhs of rupees for the treatment of these two children from Pulivendu. CM Jagan assured them of financial assistance as they complained that they had sold everything they had and got treatment and could not afford treatment.
Chief Minister gave courage to Anantapur farmer suffering from brain tumor. He was told that the treatment would cost Rs. 20 lakhs and promised to provide financial assistance. The officials were advised to deposit the amount of two lakhs in the accounts immediately. CM Jagan has shown similar compassion many times in the past. They went to the victims who stood with petitions and not only inquired about the problems, but also released funds for treatment.
In the past, they stood by Yugandhar Reddy from Dharmavaram mandal of Anantapur district. His liver was damaged and he went to many doctors for treatment. However, the doctors said that liver transplantation should be done and it would cost a lot of money. He could not give that much money and met CM Jagan after enduring a lot of effort. He explained the difficulties he was facing. With this, the Chief Minister assured that the government would bear any amount for his treatment.
