Andhra Pradesh Police Constable Preliminary Exam was held peacefully. The Recruitment Board said that 91 percent of the candidates appeared for the police constable preliminary written examination held across the state today (Sunday). Also released the test “key”. While the notification was released for a total of 6,100 posts, it was revealed that 5,03,487 people had applied. While 4,58,219 appeared for the exam, 45,268 were absent. Officials said that the preliminary answer key has been uploaded on the official website at the time mentioned earlier. It has been revealed that if anyone has objections on the preliminary answer key before 5 pm on January 25th, they are giving an opportunity. The recruitment board has allotted a mail id to raise objections. The Police Recruitment Board has set up 997 examination centers across AP.
With strict security at the examination centers, the examination was conducted under the supervision of CCTV cameras. While the AP government has released a notification for filling up a total of 6,100 constable posts, 5,03,486 candidates have applied. Among them there are 3,95,415 male and 1,08,071 female candidates.

It is known that the Jagan government has taken a decision to increase the age limit by two years for the 6,511 police posts released by the AP government. There are 411 SI posts and 6,100 constable posts. Only men are eligible for APSP Reserve Sub Inspector posts.
