AP Government Employees: Good News for Government Employees – AP Finance Department has released funds

Vijayawada: The AP government has kept its promise to the employees. Recently, the AP government has started paying the promised state government employees. Payments have started as per decision of Joint Staff Council meeting on 7th of this month. The finance department has released funds for APGLI claims. Finance department is clearing GPF bills. In the Joint Staff Council meeting, the government agreed to pay about 3 thousand crores before the end of the month. As per the decision of the meeting, the government has started paying the employees. AP Government Employees Federation Secretary General Arava Pal expressed happiness over the government starting payments as per the promise. Government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that it happened. He said that employees are part of the government. He said that we are aware that it is possible to achieve the goals of the government if everyone comes together. He said that there were financial difficulties due to Covid and that effect fell on AP. He said that it is true that there was some delay in solving the problems of the employees. He said that we are trying to solve the problem as much as possible. He said that today’s talks are not given much priority and the government is focusing on the problems of the employees. He explained that this government is always on the side of the employees. Sajjala said that the financial aspects of the employees’ problems were discussed. 

Pending claims will be cleared – Minister Adimulapu 

Minister Adimulapu said that all the pending  claims of the employees will be cleared. Suresh said. All other pending bills of GPF will be resolved by the end of this month. He said that the pending bills..in addition to TA and other bills will also be paid and the issues brought to the notice of GoM will also be resolved. JAC leaders have already prepared the employees for the district wise movement. However, the government clarified many issues in the cabinet sub-committee meeting held yesterday. The sub-committee has agreed to pay about 3 thousand crore dues by the end of this month. But the demand of JAC of Amaravati employees is to give a written guarantee from the committee. The JAC leaders have declared that the movement will not be necessary until a written assurance is received. 

The decision of the CS is crucial..
The JAC leaders met CS Jawahar Reddy on Wednesday. JAC Chairman Bopparaju said that the CS has been asked to give a written clarification on the sub-committee’s assurances. He said that CS has agreed to this. However, AP JAC Amaravati organized an emergency EC meeting on Thursday to discuss the movement. The chairman said that a decision will be taken on the continuation of the movement in this meeting. Bopparaju said.
