CM YS Jagan alerted the ministers in the AP Cabinet meeting held today that there will be changes and additions in the cabinet. It seems that CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is making preparations for the expansion of the AP cabinet. While there will be a chance for three or four people in the new cabinet, at the same time, there is a possibility that some leaders will be hunted. It is known that Jagan will strictly follow the social equations.
It is heard in the party that along with Marri Rajasekhar, who is newly elected as an MLC, Thota Trimurthu, who is an MLC in Governor Kota, is being taken into the cabinet. But there is excitement among the party leaders as to who will be hunted in the current cabinet. There is a discussion in the party ranks that there is a chance for new people by removing Vidadala Rajini and Dadissetty Raja from CM Jagan’s cabinet.
It seems that Jagan will invite MLC Thota Triumthu to replace Dadisetty Raja in the third term cabinet. Thota Trimurtuli was appointed MLC in Governor Kota on 14th June 2021 and took oath as MLC on 21st of the same month. It is interesting to see whether Rajini BC MLA from Chilakaluripet will be removed from the cabinet and Marri Rajasekhar from Kamma community will be given a chance. There is no possibility of giving place in the cabinet to two leaders from the same constituency. So it seems that CM Jagan has taken this crucial decision under the wrong circumstances.
It is heard in the party that Thota Trimurtulu, who is an MLC in Governor Kota, is being taken into the cabinet along with Kauru Srinivas. Discussions started among the party leaders that Jagan would take one or both of Ponnada Satish and Kaur Srinivas into his third term cabinet. But there is excitement among the party leaders as to who will be targeted in the current cabinet.
It is heard that one of MLC Kaur Srinivas and Ponnada Satish is confirmed for a berth in the AP cabinet. Or even if CM Jagan gives a chance to both of them, we don’t want to be surprised. According to some other party leaders, there is a possibility that Sidiri will target Appalaraju. Appalaraju, who has already had two terms in the AP cabinet, may be removed from the cabinet in the current political situation and Mummidivaram MLA Ponnada Satish is likely to be inducted into the new cabinet. It seems that MLC candidate Kauru Srinivas will also be given the post of minister after Venugopalakrishna, who has passed away.
Looking at the issue of expansion of the cabinet for the third term in AP, it will become difficult for CM Jagan to decide who should be removed from the cabinet and who should be retained.
