AndhraPradesh: Another shock to the AP government in the High Court.. Stopping those appointments.. Court issued interim orders.

Andhra Pradesh government got another shock in the High Court. The AP High Court has issued key orders suspending the orders given by the state government for the appointment of Grade 2 Extension Officers. With this, the appointments of Extension Officers Grade 2 will be stopped temporarily. The High Court has issued an interim order staying the process. The state government has recently issued orders for the recruitment of a total of 560 grade 2 posts. It has been alleged that some of the 38,000 Anganwadi teachers who wrote the written test were selected without conducting the oral test. As a result, a lawsuit was filed in the High Court alleging irregularities in these appointments. The case was heard in the High Court on Thursday, September 29. Senior advocate Jada Shravan Kumar appeared on behalf of the petitioner. The counsel on behalf of the petitioner argued that a written test of 45 marks and an oral test of 5 marks should be conducted. However, on behalf of the petitioner, lawyer Shravan Kumar told the court that the officials who conducted the written test are taking steps to appoint some people without conducting the oral test and there have been irregularities in filling the jobs.

The trial court agreed with the arguments of the counsel for the petitioner. With this, extension officers grade 2 recruitment process has been stopped and interim orders have been issued. The court adjourned the further hearing for four weeks.

It is known that two days ago Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy conducted a review of the Department of Women and Child Welfare and made important comments on filling the posts of Anganwadi Supervisors. The CM announced in the review meeting that the posts of Anganwadi center supervisors will be filled by September 30. Officials also said that they are conducting the examination process in a very transparent manner with the instructions of the Chief Minister. He said that the marks lists will be revealed after the interviews. However, the High Court issued interim orders to temporarily stop the recruitment process a day before the deadline set by the CM to complete the recruitment process.
