Andhra Pradesh CID has given clarification on the search of Telugu Desam Party leader Chintakayala Vijay’s house and issuance of notices under CrPC 41A. The CID officials have announced that the state Chief Minister YS Jagan’s wife is being spread falsely on social media in the name of ITDP and it is ITDP that has published false news about BharathiPay. He said that this ITDP is running under the leadership of Chintakayala Vijay and that is why a case has been registered against him and called for investigation. AP CID officials have issued a statement to this effect. Meanwhile, the CID officials registered a case against Vijay under IPC Sections 419, 469, 153A, 505(2), 120B r/w 34, IT Act Section 66(c) and issued notices to Chintakayala Vijay to attend the hearing under CRPC Section 41-A. . The officials asked Vijay to cooperate in the investigation.
Earlier, the Andhra Pradesh CID police raided Chintakayala Vijay's house in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Vijay came to the house and searched. Police detained the servant due to his absence. CID police posted notices at Vijay's house due to his absence.
Meanwhile, Vijay's family members are expressing their anger on the behavior of the AP police. The family members alleged that they did not tell why they came and what the case was. They say that when the children were at home, there was a ruckus in the name of the police, and they do not even know whether it was the police or not. Vijay's family members alleged that they were threatened to conduct searches without giving any notice. Vijay's family members said that they will fight a legal battle on this matter.
