TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu has come under intense fire against YCP rule in Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu Naidu said that there is a strong opposition among the people against the government. If they want to do that, they have to put it on the 5 crore people of the state. He objected that the YCP was getting impatient with the opposition coming from the people due to cuts in welfare schemes. A student from Chittoor district, who was questioned about Vidya Devena, was being harassed by filing cases. The YCP was furious that they were ruining their lives by filing cases against the students. He said that people do not believe in the YCP regime and strong opposition is coming from every house. It is stated that people are holding the collar and questioning the party leaders who wanted to revolt by throwing up the collar. Chandrababu demanded to withdraw the case against the student. He asked the DGP to take action against the behavior of the local police.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy made a key announcement on the issue of YCP contesting in Kuppam constituency. He said that Kuppam constituency has achieved development in the last three years than during the rule of TDP chief Chandrababu. He directed the party leaders to win 175 out of 175 seats in the next assembly elections. He called to start from the pile of victory. CM Jagan, whose Kuppam is the same as his own constituency. The Chief Minister has made it clear that the Kuppam Municipality is being sanctioned funds worth Rs.65 crore for works.
