Andhra pradesh: Andhra Pradesh government has got another prestigious award. This award given by ‘Times of India Group’ was given to AP Government. This ward has come to Andhra Pradesh in the development of port based infrastructure. Andhra Pradesh has emerged as the best state in the country in terms of port-based infrastructure development. A jury headed by NITI Aayog advisor Sudendu J Sinha selected the state of Andhra Pradesh for the award.
The award was presented at a function held in New Delhi recently. AP Industries Minister Gudivada Amarnath received the award on behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Along with Minister Amarnath, Industries Department Principal Secretary Karikala Valavan and Maritime Deputy CEO Rabindranath participated in this program.
The members of the award committee praised the AP government for constructing large-scale ports in Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, Gudivada Amarnath met Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy at the CM's camp office on Wednesday. On this occasion, the details of the award were explained to the CM and Jagan congratulated the minister.
