Amalapuram News : Plastic waste caught fire next to the school, 40 students fell ill!

Amalapuram News : 40 students fell ill due to suffocation at Wiz Dum Private School in Bandarulanka, Amalapuram mandal of Ambedkar Konaseema district. The students fainted due to the smoke coming from burning the plastic wastes near the school. The school management and teachers immediately rushed the students to the primary health center in Bandarulanka. After primary treatment there, 29 people whose health improved were sent home.  Another 11 students were taken to Amalapuram Area Hospital in 108 vehicles for better treatment. The doctors said that due to the dense smoke, they had only suffered from breathing problems, and after checking that there was no danger to their lives, the students would be discharged in another two hours. District Collector Himanshu Shukla visited the receiving students. The health condition of the students was inquired from the doctors. The doctors were directed to provide better treatment to the students. District Collector Himanshu Shukla ordered the police to register a case and arrest the people who burnt plastic waste. 

13 students sick in Tekkali 

Food in Tekkali of Srikakulam district 13 students fell ill due to poison. On Monday morning, 13 students had vomiting and diarrhea after eating Tiffen at the BC Boys’ Welfare Hostel in Polavaram village of Tekkali mandal. Dormitory welfare officer Apparao provided basic treatment to the students in the presence of AN‌ms. Later, the students were referred to Tekkali District Government Hospital for better treatment.
