The state’s recovery rate is 98.75 percent. Corona vaccine has been given to 90,161 people in the last 24 hours.
Vadodara city recorded the highest number of four cases in the state on Friday and one patient recovered. While three cases have come up in Surat city and Valsad. Five patients in Surat city and six in Valsad have recovered from corona. Two cases have been reported in Kutch. A case has been reported in Ahmedabad city and one patient has beaten Corona.
The speed of vaccination has also increased in Gujarat. 90,161 people have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours. So far a total of 6,64,21,639 people have been vaccinated in the state.
The number of new cases of corona doubled in five days of Navratri
Corona cases are on the rise in Gujarat during the festivals. On October 10, 10 new cases of corona were reported in the state, which rose to 34 by Thursday (October 14). This means that in five days, Corona’s cases have risen by 88%. Maharashtra and Kerala are the most affected states from Corona but the surge recorded in Gujarat in the last five days is higher than these two states. From October 10 to 14, new cases in Maharashtra and Kerala have risen by 4% and 17%, respectively.
The rise in new cases in Gujarat is a cause for concern, with the highest number of 34 cases reported in the last 82 days. As the second wave of Corona’s brutality slowed down, 30 cases were reported in the state on July 27 while 39 cases were reported on July 24. In addition, the number of active cases has crossed 200. The state last had 206 active cases on August 6.
