Preparations have started for Kharif Marketing Year 2022-23. In this episode, the Chhattisgarh government has intensified the preparations to buy paddy and maize at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Joining this process on MSP Paddy and Maize Farmers have to register to sell. This registration process is in progress. Under which farmers across the state can register themselves in the Integrated Farmer Portal till October 31. At the same time, the government has clarified that farmers selling paddy in the Kharif year 2021-22 will not require new registration. Those who have not registered yet, they will have to register.
Along with registration, farmers can also amend the area
Under the order issued in this regard by the Ministry of Food, Civil Supplies Department of Chhattisgarh, farmers can register for selling crops on the Integrated Farmers Portal. Along with this, farmers can also take action to amend the registered crop or area till October 31. In the order issued by the ministry, it has been clarified that paddy and maize will be procured at MSP from the registered farmers on the portal itself.
Kisan Portal is the solution to many problems of farmers
The Kisan Portal launched by the Government of Chhattisgarh is the solution to many problems of the farmers. In fact, till earlier, farmers of the state had to apply in different offices to take advantage of various government schemes. Due to which additional resources were also spent along with time. Keeping this in mind, the state government has developed an integrated farmer portal for registration of farmers on one platform for various schemes by simplifying the process. It has been linked to Bhuiya portal for verification of farmers’ land and sown crops.
Application from portal for many schemes
In this integrated farmer portal, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Chief Minister Tree Plantation Promotion Scheme, Paddy and Maize Procurement, Kodo-Kutki and Ragi Procurement Scheme have been included. All categories of land holders and forest lease holders can register in this portal. Under the Chief Minister’s Tree Plantation Promotion Scheme, forest lease holders, Gram Panchayat and Joint Forest Management Committees who plant trees in their available land will also be eligible for registration in the portal. It is necessary to register all the agricultural and horticultural crops of Kharif season and farmers who plant fragrant paddy, fortified paddy and plantation instead of paddy in the Integrated Farmer Portal. For new registration in the Integrated Farmer Portal, application has to be made in the prescribed form along with photocopy of loan book, B-1, Aadhar number, bank passbook.
