According to Inderjit Paul, Senior Manager (Commodity Research), Origo E-Mandi, maize production is estimated to increase by 1 per cent year-on-year to 21.95 million metric tonnes in 2022-23, as compared to 21.77 million metric tonnes in 2021-22. Paddy production will decline

According to the production estimates of Origo Commodities, the production of paddy in 2022-23 is estimated to decline by 13 per cent to 96.7 million metric tonnes, as against 111.17 million metric tonnes in 2021-22.
