Punjab government’s big announcement, pink locust will get compensation for damaged crops on this day

Chandigarh: The Punjab Government has announced to compensate the damaged crops with pink locust. Regarding the damaged cotton crop, Punjab Agriculture Minister Kaka Randeep Singh Nabha and Revenue Minister Aruna Chaudhary held a press conference.

On the occasion, Agriculture Minister Kaka Randeep Singh Nabha said that the Congress party stands by the farmers and their every Ready to help as much as possible. He said that it was our duty to help the farmers who protect the crops like their children.

He said that recently the Chief Minister had fulfilled his commitment to the farmers Mansa, Bathinda, Sangrur Agriculture Minister Kaka Randeep Singh Nabha said that Mansa, Bathinda, Sangrur. He said that 4 lakh acres of land has been damaged for which compensation of Rs 416 crore is being paid. It will be compensated under three slabs. The work of compensation is being started from tomorrow. The Minister said that 26 to 32 per cent compensation would be given per acre. He said that 5400 for 33 to 75 per cent and 12000 per acre for 76 to 100 acres would be compensated. He said that it was a historic decision and no other government in the country had announced so much compensation.

Policy for Percentage Taxpayers Will make He said that Punjab was the only state which had issued appointment letters to the farmers who were martyred under the farmers’ agitation. Agriculture Minister Kaka Randeep Singh Nabha said that the compensation will be given according to the amount available with the government. “Special girdavari orders have been issued for the damage caused by the rains,” he said. At the moment, the government does not have exact figures on how much damage has been done.
