Farmer Satya Narayan has also been honored for his achievement. 50 year old Satya Narayan is one such farmer (Farmers) who have not even completed their formal education. He told that he had brought this mango from Bangladesh. He is very happy that he has succeeded in growing this mango. But to sell mangoes, he has appealed to the state government for help. Chandru Satya Narayan lives in Neelathar village, 130 km from Bargarh district headquarters. Three years ago he had brought Miyazaki mango seeds from Bangladesh three years ago.

Mango portal has been opened for farmers

According to News18, the Karnataka government has opened a common portal to sell different types of fruits to its customers. The website for different varieties of fruits has been launched in association with India Post, which will deliver the fruits to the doorsteps of the customers. Various types of mangoes have been included on the portal. KSMDMCL Managing Director CG Nagaraju while talking to The Indian Express said that varieties of mangoes like Alphonso, Badami, Apus, Raspuri, Mallika, Himam Pasand and Kesar are sold here.
