Now MSP will be paid in just 48 hours, Haryana Deputy CM claims

Haryana from October 1 Minimum Support Price (MSP) procurement of Kharif crops has started. In such a situation, getting the payment of crops as soon as possible is now the biggest issue for the farmers. Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that the government is fully prepared for the purchase of Kharif crops in the mandis. For this, elaborate arrangements have been made in all the mandis. He said that this time the farmers will not have to wait for the I-form to be cut. Not only this, instead of 72 hours, the amount of the crop will be deposited in the accounts of the farmers in 48 hours.

Chautala said that the app has also been prepared for the convenience of the farmers. The compensation for 2021 for crop failure due to rain has been released in three installments. This time the report of crop failure has been sought from the district officials, on the basis of which compensation will be given to the farmers.

When to buy which crop

Paddy is being procured from October 1 during Kharif Marketing Season 2022-23. The government has set a target of purchasing 55 lakh metric tonnes of paddy. Similarly, the purchase of moong has also started from October 1. Farmers can sell it till November 15. Groundnut will be procured from November 1 to December 31. The purchase of sesame, urad and tur will be from December 1 to December 31.

price of which crop is fixed

The government has fixed the minimum support price of paddy at Rs 2040 per quintal for 2022-23. MSP of moong is 7755 per quintal. The price of sesame has been fixed at Rs 7830. The MSP of urad is 6600, groundnut is 5850 and the price of tur is fixed at Rs 6600 per quintal. The government will decide to get such a price.

Consolidation work will be completed by April

Amidst the procurement of crops, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has asked the officials to complete the work of consolidation across the state by April 2023. He said that despite the shortage of staff, good work is being done in all the districts. Therefore, the work of consolidation in the remaining few villages of the state will be completed by December 2022. In some other villages, this work has been asked to be done by March 2023. He directed the officers to show promptness in completing the work in the districts where the work is incomplete. The staff required for this will be filled soon.

Instructions to expedite the work of consolidation

The Deputy Chief Minister has engaged Revenue Advisor RK Garg to expedite the work done in 35 villages of Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri districts. He has been asked to take regular meeting of officers and employees in both the districts and submit its report in 45 days. Along with this, the Deputy Commissioners of many districts presented the report of consolidation in their districts.
