Meri Fasal Mera Byora Portal: Farmers will not be able to sell crops on MSP without registration

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that starting from October 1 purchase of kharif crops During this, the farmers of the state will not be allowed to face any kind of problem. Ensuring easy procurement of crops is the priority of the state government. The Chief Minister was holding a meeting with top officials regarding the purchase of Kharif crops. Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister JP Dalal was also present in the meeting. Farmers who do not register on the Meri Fasal-Mera Byora portal will not be able to sell their crops at the Minimum Support Price (MSP).

During the marketing session 2022-23, crops like paddy, bajra, maize, moong, sunflower, groundnut, sesame, tur and urad etc. will be procured. Adequate arrangements for mandis have been made for this. Manohar Lal directed the officers that all arrangements related to procurement should be ensured in the mandis, so that the farmers coming to sell the crops do not face any inconvenience. Procurement of crops in a time bound manner, its storage and arrangement of gunny bags in the mandis should also be ensured.

Instructions for registration and verification

The Chief Minister said that the Meri Fasal-Mera Byora portal has been opened for registration till September 24. He told the farmers that those who have not yet registered themselves, they should get this work done immediately. So that they do not face any problem in selling the crop. Moong will be procured from October 1 to November 15. Groundnut will be procured from November 1 to December 31. While the purchase of Arhar, Urad and Sesame will be done from December 1 to December 31.

The Chief Minister directed the officers of the Agriculture Department that within 2 days, the errors in the verification of the data of e-Girdawari, matching it with the data of Agriculture Department, Harsack, should be sent to the CRO through the District Deputy Commissioner. . Along with this, the CRO should also be instructed to correct this data in the next 3 days and ensure to enter it on the portal.

Help desk will be made for farmers

Manoharlal said that help desk will also be set up in the mandis as before so that no farmers face any problem. Officers of Marketing Board, Agriculture and related departments will be posted on this help desk. The grievances of farmers will also be redressed at the help desk.

K Makrand Pandurang along with other senior officials were present.
