173 cases of Lumpy Skin Disease have also been reported from the capital of the country, Delhi. Delhi Cabinet Minister Gopal Rai said on Saturday that cases of Lumpy Skin Disease have been reported in Delhi mostly from South and West districts. 16 cases have been reported in Najafgarh.
He said that the Delhi government has deployed two mobile veterinary clinics to deal with lumpy skin disease and has formed 11 rapid response teams to collect samples. With this, four teams have been formed to create awareness. Similarly, an isolation ward is being built for unclaimed cattle suffering from Lumpy Skin Disease in Rewala Khanpur, South-West Delhi.
