Kharif season was sown in 671 thousand 426 hectare area in Aurangabad district. But due to incessant rains, the crop in 12 thousand 679 hectares of that crop has been ruined. In the last two months, the crops planted in 4 lakh 43 thousand 943 hectares have been damaged due to rain. According to the initial estimate, a demand of 628 crores was made from the district administration, but after the Panchnama, a revised demand of 695 crores has been made by the Collectorate.

According to the report given by the district administration, there is 4 lakh 30 thousand 742 hectares of cultivable area. 6 thousand 234 horticulture areas and 6 thousand 967 areas belong to fruit crops. The most affected areas have become agricultural. And for this, Rs 585 crore will be required. 17 crores will be needed for horticulture and 25 crores for orchards. Therefore, Collector Pandey said that according to the revised demand, a proposal of Rs 695 crore has been submitted to the government.
