Haryana government has issued a plan for the purchase of paddy on MSP, will be in charge in every district

Haryana Government during Kharif Marketing Season 2022-23 paddy purchase Has released its action plan regarding this. An important decision has been taken to simplify the procurement process. Under which the government has posted administrative secretaries as district in-charges for procurement operations. These officers will personally visit the mandis in the districts allotted to them and monitor all the preparations there. Not only this, by establishing coordination, we will ensure complete control over all the work related to procurement. In this regard, Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal has issued orders.

In the order issued by the Chief Secretary, the officers have been instructed to visit the mandis. These district in-charges will monitor whether paddy is being procured at MSP or not. To ensure adequate space for paddy in the mandis, we will also ensure lifting of the previous year’s wheat before the kharif marketing season 2022-23. Availability of moisture meter with the market committee and state procurement agencies will be ensured.

According to the order issued, Virendra Singh Kundu has been assigned Rewari district as the district in-charge. SN Roy to Hisar district, Dr. Mahavir Singh to Jhajjar district, Sudhir Rajpal to Palwal district, Dr. Sumita Mishra to Ambala district, Ankur Gupta to Sonepat district, Anurag Rastogi to Gurugram district, RS Wundru to Mahendragarh district, Anand Mohan Sharan Has been assigned Panchkula district and Dr. Ashok Khemka district Nuh.

Similarly, Vineet Garg got Fatehabad district, Anil Malik got Faridabad district, G. This will be the responsibility of the district in-charge

The district in-charge will also take care that paddy should be lifted daily in the mandis, so that enough space can be made available for new paddy. The district in-charge will also check the register for the last 4-5 days. In it, we will find out whether the variety-wise details of the arrival of all the paddy are recorded or not and whether it has been sold after proper cleaning. We will also check the moisture content in the purchased paddy and the paddy ready for purchase, so that any dispute between the farmers and the procurement agencies can be avoided.

What is the arrangement in the mandis

Dryers will be arranged in the mandis for the purchase of maize by the Haryana Agricultural Marketing Board, the district in-charge will keep a complete monitoring of this activity. Special control rooms will also be set up in the mandis for redressal of farmers’ grievances. The state government has claimed that after the approval of the I-form, the payment will be made to the farmers’ accounts in the next 72 hours.
