He said that these are signs of banana top bacterial head rot or rhizome rot disease. In such a situation, the farmers doing commercial cultivation of banana need to take necessary measures to prevent this disease. Under which farmers can take care of banana plants healthy by scientific method.

He told that bacterium head rot is a common disease found in banana, which causes mild rot of banana and banana plants. The main reason for this is the excessive moisture in the soil, due to which the rhizome also starts rotting.

This disease is more at the time of planting banana

He said that plants infected with this disease are usually seen more after heavy rains in soils with poor drainage. This disease is being seen a lot these days when the plants prepared by tissue culture are shifted to the greenhouse for first and second hardening. At the same time, he told that this disease is seen more from the first month to four to five months after planting banana. After this, the severity of this disease automatically decreases.

Along with this solution, it is necessary to get one gram of streptocycline in 3 liters of water. Due to which the soil of the plants should be moistened very well and by spraying with this solution, there is a great reduction in the severity of the disease.
