Animal Husbandry Loan up to Rs. 1.60 lakh without guarantee and Rs. 3 lakh on guarantee is being provided by the government to the animal husbandry farmers and farmers through Dairy Development Corporation. The milk business runs throughout the year. Youth can earn good profit by joining it.

Dr. Banwari Lal said that 1000 metric tonnes of butter would be kept safe for a longer period by installing a butter deep freezer for storing white butter in the Vita plant. He said that due to the trust of the people, the profit of Haryana Dairy Development Co-operative Federation Limited has increased from Rs.25 crore to Rs.35 crore.

Rohtak plant has a capacity of 4.5 lakh liters per day

Apart from milk, this plant is manufacturing and supplying Vita Ghee, Vita Butter, Curd, Namkeen Lassi, Buttermilk, Paneer and Barfi etc. to the customers. The minister said that the Vita plant in Rohtak is supplying Vita Ghee and milk to the Indian Army. Apart from this, it is also fulfilling the demand of milk of children and sportspersons under mid-day meal, Anganwadi scheme and sports schemes.

Milk is also being exported abroad

The Cooperation Minister said that the plant is exporting liquid milk through Hindustan Unilever Limited, Sonipat to countries like Indonesia, Malaysia etc. In order to maintain the quality of milk received from milk producers, 106 bulk milk units have been established in the societies. Milk Union Rohtak is also running accident insurance, Kanyadan amount, scholarship scheme etc. for its milk producers.
